good or bad?

yesterday i came across a forum and they mentioned that drinking milk is not totally good. Somebody mentioned that milk produces the mucus in our body and that the cancer cells(or something) feeds on the mucus?

Also, i remembered this other person mentioning that drinking alot of milk in one day is not good. He/she heard from the teacher's aunt that she drank alot of milk. I guess she subititude the water with milk and like and when she got older,there was an extra bone inside her ankle. The lady was unable to walk because of that.

I currently have braces. I had them applied in June this year. So I haven't had them for that long. I had to have 4 teeth extracted. That was probably the worst part of getting the braces. I have to have them on for approximately 3 years. There has been such a change already! It's really amazing how fast braces work. The pain when you get them applied at first is horrible though, and whenever you get them tightened. But it's all worth it!

PLOT

Han Song Jung (Kim Mi Sook) is a novel writer. She is also a single mother who has raised three daughters: Da Ae (Hwang Woo Seul Hye), Da Jung (Park Se Young) and Da In (Go Woo Ri). She struggles to let her three daughters to marry good men.

Yeongjo is a king who is well-versed in Confucianism. He often express himself by crying but at the same time holds a dream inside his heart. His origin as the son of a lowly water maid makes him feel inferior and in order to prove himself not only as a king who owns the power after his brother’s death, he strives hard to be a competent leader, hungry for acknowledgement and recognition. In order to protect the throne and the people, he has to make hard decisions, such as turning into a cold-blooded father to his son, Crown Prince Sado.

The prince who masks his fears with laughter, Crown Prince Sado Yi Seon

As an heir to the throne, Sado is expected to be the best in everything but he is struggling to live up to the expectations from people around him. He’s fearful of his father Yeongjo and chooses to hide his fears behind his smiles. His smile becomes his standard reaction to everything. The murder case is his chance to prove himself but he discovers something hidden beneath it.

A young woman who is brave to challenge the common practice. Marrying the crown prince makes her a step closer to her dream, but the only thing she has not achieved is to steal her own husband’s love. Yi Seon’s dream of a fair world turns her own dream into bubbles and she decides to abandon her husband in order to protect her son.

The cold-blooded assassin Na Chul-joo

An assassin who has nothing to fear but finds himself intrigued by the young woman he finds at the book rental place he frequents. He eventually becomes her assistant in investigating the murder case.

An officer who receives the trust from the crown prince, he continues to serve the prince faithfully, until the murder case. During the investigation, he becomes the sacrificial lamb to control Yi Seon, for Yeongjo’s sake.

Long highlight video with summary

It started with an assassination attempt on Yeongjo when he was a successor to the throne (Gyeongjong was the king at that time) and Kim Taek was the one who saved him. Because of that, YJ signed a secret agreement with Noron led by KT or he would die, and to safeguard his secret, they burned down Seungjeongwon (Office of the Secretaries), probably to get rid of any records (this might be related to Gyeongjong-Yeongjo's issues in history).
Flash forward to 30 years later, YJ was surprised to find that an eunuch as young as 12 years old had been assigned to assist him and he's probably ticked off, enough for him to make the decision to abdicate. Sado found out from Je-gong that YJ was going to abdicate the throne but YJ was actually testing his subjects and Hyegyeong knew it, as well as KT. SD knelt in front of the throne hall (like in the pics) to persuade his father into reconsidering his decision.
The secret agreement was found by Heung-bok and KT knew about it, thus ordering someone to find HB and if necessary, he could be killed. YJ realized that the secret agreement might have resurfaced and HB's buddy working at the Royal Painting Bureau suggested that it would be better if they burn the document. One night, Ji-dam, a part of a group of book dealers, was on her way out to make her delivery. HB was also heading somewhere, carrying a book with him, and he was approached by someone. JD saw someone pushing HB from the bridge. HB died and his corpse disappeared when JD came back with the police inspector. HB was actually on his way to meet SD and the prince realized that his friend was running late, although HB usually won't make someone wait for him.
There was a visit to the late queen's tomb and YJ wanted to wash his face, but the water couldn't be drawn from the well. As soon as SD tried to persuade his father that there might be a problem with the well, HB's corpse was retrieved from it. SD was so heartbroken to see his best friend like that while YJ was furious about it. This might be the start to his suspicion towards his own son. JD was attacked and Chul-joo saved her. JD realized that it could be dangerous since she's the only eyewitness to HB's murder case but she's fearless. There were people trying to make it pass as a mere suicide case and SD was of course surprised, but YJ seemed to be..satisfied with the outcome.

Flower boy, talented, handsome, swoon-worthy, adorable, cute, dorky are some descriptions fans used to describe this South Korean actor.

Lee Min-ho was born on June 22nd, 1987 in Seoul, South Korea. As a child, Min-ho dreamt of becoming a professional soccer player, playing in an arena full of cheering supporters. Like many childhood dreams, however, his was left not entirely fulfilled due to an injury sustained as a child.

As he progressed through high school, Min-ho started to consider acting as his true calling. By his final year of high school, he was signed by Starhaus Entertainment. Like many aspiring artists, the starting point to stardom was filled with rocky steps for Lee Min-ho. One major setback occurred in 2006 when he and best friend, Jung Il-woo whom he befriended in high school, were severely injured in a car accident.

After almost a year of rehabilitation, Min-ho returned to acting through a school-centric drama, Mackerel Run. This series was his first leading role, and he had high hopes of it becoming successful. Unfortunately, Mackerel Run’s sixteen episodes run was shortened to eight. And the disappointment continued. Between 2007 and 2008, Min-ho continued to act in smaller roles in drama series, I Am Sam and Get Up, and films Public Enemy Returns and Our School E.T.

His major breakthrough came at the start of 2009 when he was chosen to play the lead Gu Jun Pyo in Boys before Flowers, a Korean adaptation of the famed manga Hana Yori Dango. This role catapulted Min-ho into an overnight star. It’s safe to assume that Lee has made Gu Jun-pyo an iconic character in the fable of Korean dramas. And it is with this role that the name “flower boy” becomes a part of Min-ho’s public lexicon.

Aware that Boys before Flowers was a perfect storm of success, Min-ho wanted to build upon his acting craft by portraying different characters. In the Spring of 2010, he took the challenge of playing a perfectionist architect, Jeon Jin-ho, in the romantic comedy, Personal Taste, starring opposite Son Ye-jin. After gaining further acting growth in this romantic comedy, Min-ho followed a different character path by choosing to act as a playboy turned heroic vigilante, Lee Yoon-sung, in a Korean City Hunter manga adaptation. After the success of City Hunter, Min-ho’s next acting endeavor was in the time-travel fusion sageuk, Faith, as General Choi Young.

Lee Min-ho’s major career breakthrough in 2009 has also attracted a legion of fans, affectionately called Minoz. Since then, he has held numerous fan-meetings and endorsed many products throughout East Asia, in part as a vehicle to maintain and deepen his relationship with the fans. His most recent interaction with Minoz was through the release of his very first album, My Everything, and a recently completed tour in eight metropolitan cities around East Asia.

In the Fall of 2013, Min-ho returned to the small screen in He Who Wears the Crown, Bears its Weight -- The Heirs. In this series, he portrayed the lead Kim Tan, an emotionally wounded upper class teenage heir yearning for reasons to heal and live through love and friendship formed within the circle of high society. After the Heirs, Min-ho's next role will be in the film, Gangnam Blues, written and directed by Yoo-ha. Filming will commence in April and is expected to release later this year.

From a struggling actor to an overnight star, Lee Min-ho has since been solidifying himself as a leading man and serenading fans all over Asia and the world. He has come along way from that young boy who had a dream of becoming a professional footballer, displaying his skill and talent in a field of adoring home fans and fearful away supporters. But one remnant of that childhood dream is fulfilled -- he has created many spectacles in front of entertaining audiences. Just in a different field -- a stage with lights and cameras. The story starts with Aihara Kotoko, a not-so-smart high school girl, making a wish to a shooting star, saying that she wishes Irie Naoki, the No.1 genius and good looking student of her school will realise her feelings for him. The next day, she decides to write him a love letter, but he rejects it and says "I hate stupid women." Later on the same day, Kotoko's new house was hit by the shooting star she made a wish upon, thus making it collapse. As the house is waiting to be rebuilt, Kotoko and her father moves to her father's close friends house, which turns out to be the house of Irie Naoki's dad.

In 19th century Joseon dynasty, Park Yoon-Kang is the son of the best swordsman in the country. His father and younger sister then get killed. To take revenge, Park Yoon-Kang gives up his sword and become a shooter.

In the time of enlightenment, a battle between a sword and a gun has started.

Based in the time of enlightenment of 17th-century Joseon, "Gunman in Joseon" tells the story of Joseon's last swordsman named Park Yoon Kang who grabs a gun ditching his sword and grows to become the era's hero.

Synopsis (+personal thoughts ^^)

This series is based on the famous online Thai BL novel "LOVE SICK : The Chaotic Lives of Blue Shorts Guys" by INDRYTIMES (twitter: @hedshew go say thanks to her for this phenomenal story!), which follows two 17 years old high school boys who eventually fall in love after a deal brought them closer together.

Phun has a girlfriend (Aim) but his father wants him to date his friend's daughter. Phun's little sister, Pang, is obsessed with boys' love.

Phun needs to convince Pang that he has a boyfriend so that she can help talk their father around the idea of dating his friend's daughter.

So he asked Noh to become his fake boyfriend in exchange for helping Noh raising fund for his Music Club.

Although the major storyline here is about Phun & Noh, the series also deals with eclectic teen's issues such as peer pressure, rich vs poor, rivalry, relationships, gangsterism etc.

Sounds similar to Hormones The Series? Nope, not entirely. Love Sick The Series has its own charm & strong points.

Episode 1 could be a bit lacklustre, but give it a chance and you'll find yourself addicted to it by Episode 2.

To date (4th Aug), there are 5 episodes already out & this series has given me diabetes from its too sweet scenes!!!!
