ABOUT THE SHOW

Plot

Set in the Joseon Dynasty period. Drama series follows the Crown Prince Sohyeon (Lee Jin-Wook), his warriors Heo Seung-Po and An Min-Seo and a guy named Park Dal-Hyang who is preparing for his military examination.

Drama series "The Three Musketeers" will consist of three series (or seasons) with each series consisting of 12 episodes.

Filming begins July, 2014.

Actor Lee Jin-Wook, director Kim Byung-Soo and screenwriter Song Jae-Jung previously collaborated on tvN drama series "Nine: Nine Times Time Travel”.

Mischievous Kiss: Love in Tokyo(イタズラなKiss～Love in TOKYO) is a 2013 Fuji TV Japanese television drama, starring Honoka Miki and Yuki Furukawa in the lead roles. It aired starting on March 29, 2013, on Fridays at 24:00 and is currently ongoing. It is based on the Japanese manga Itazura Na Kiss written by Tada Kaoru. The Japanese series is the fifth television adaptation of the manga, following the Japanese "Itazura Na Kiss (Tv Asashi)"in 1996, the Taiwanese It Started With a Kiss in 2005, its sequel They Kiss Again in 2007, and the Korean Playful Kiss in 2010. Mischievous Kiss: Love in Tokyo is currently (2014) filming for Season 2.

The Okinawa Convention & Visitors Bureau (OCVB) has provided assistance for the locations shooted there. ♥ Season 1 Story ♥

The story starts with Aihara Kotoko, a not-so-smart high school girl, making a wish to a shooting star, saying that she wishes Irie Naoki, the No.1 genius and good looking student of her school will realise her feelings for him. The next day, she decides to write him a love letter, but he rejects it and says "I hate stupid women." Later on the same day, Kotoko's new house was hit by the shooting star she made a wish upon, thus making it collapse. As the house is waiting to be rebuilt, Kotoko and her father moves to her father's close friends house, which turns out to be the house of Irie Naoki's dad.

The year is 1859. The late Joseon dynasty was a period of social and economic unrest in Korea, and it was also a time of great tyranny. Due to continuous natural disasters and poor harvest, poverty, hunger and death are rampant. The aristocracy rule the country, and concerned only with their own wealth, they exploit and persecute the poor.

In these turbulent times, a band of fighters named Kundo rise against the authorities. They raid corrupt officials, then share their booty with the vulnerable and impoverished. While the king stands powerless against them, Kundo becomes a figure of fear to undeserving nobles, and a ray of hope in the lives of long-suffering citizens. The members of Kundo believe that their cause is more important than their own lives.

In an era when one's status is decided by birth, Dolmuchi was born to a poor butcher, while Jo-yoon, though born into a powerful and wealthy family, is illegitimate. The two men strike a dangerous deal and Dolmuchi loses his mother and sister as a result. He is trampled by Jo-yoon who commands absolute power in his oppressive world. Bringing together the men who are on the fringes of this dark society, Dolmuchi is accepted as a member of Kundo and opens his eyes to the world. He draws his sword out of its sheath and disperses the shadow cast on the poor and helpless. Then before him, the man who took away his family appears. Standing in front of Jo-yoon, Dolmuchi challenges his arch-enemy to a final duel

This is the fifth time Yong JongBin and Ha Jungwoo will be working in one film (with one having Yong PD have cameo role only)

This is Kang Dongwon's first film gig after his release from mandatory Military service.

Actor Ha Jung-Woo's first scene filmed for the movie takes place May 14, 2013 in Saemankum area, Jeollabuk-do, South Korea.

After Ha Jung-Woo attended the 2013 (49th) PaekSang Arts Awards on May 9, 2013, he had his head shaved in preparation for filming.

Filming begin April 27, 2013 and finished November 1, 2013.

Actress Kim Min-Hee was originally cast to play female character Ma-Hyang, but dropped out of the project prior to filming. In her place, actress Yoon Ji-Hye plays the role of Ma-Hyang.
