Summary
The members go off on a trip to a Korean village and try to survive. Throughout the show, there are several mini-games played to see who will eat dinner (as opposed to a simple snack), who will serve the most work that are given during each journey every week and also, who will sleep comfortably.

  1. He is the last-born and has three sisters.
  2. When he was small, his parents told him he had so many different facial expressions. And now he is a grown-up, he can see it’s beneficial to be able to display diverse expressions.
  3. He was studying Environmental Engineering at Cheongju University when he decided to become an actor.
  4. He served his two-year mandatory military service from May 6, 2009 to March 7, 2011 at the Defense Media Agency of the Ministry of National Defense.
  5. His best friends are Kim Ji Suk and Lee Dong Wook. Besides, he is also close to Lee Dong Gun, Lee Jun Ki, Kim Jae Won, Boom, Andy, Yang Se Hyung, Dynamic Duo since the army time.
  6. The friendship between Kim Ji Suk and him has lasted for more than 10 years (since about 2002). They lived together, travelled to Hongkong, Thailand… and did many things together. In their trip to Thailand, they had an experience in the police station because they were topless while riding scooters.
  7. He grew close to Lee Dong Wook when they were in the army. Their friends call them Wook brothers. With the hope that Lee Jin Wook would continue to act till 60 or 70 years old, LDW gave JW the nickname ‘Lee Jin Sam’. Since JW was worried and cared about DW as well, he named his friend ‘Lee Dong Chun’. However, due to their quite similar names, LJW once jokingly said that LDW should rename in order for people not to mislead between them any more.
  8. Lee Jin Wook has attended several public events with Kim Ji Suk (Audi, Aveda events…) and Lee Dong Wook (W, Gucci events …). He also appeared in magazines with KJS (Singles September 2012) and LDW (Singles November 2011 and Esquire February 2012). Whereas LJW and LDW were the 2 models of SERIES in 2011, LJW and KJS played as male leads in I Need Romance 2012. LJW and KJS also appeared in Strong Heart to support LDW’s MC debut in 2012.
  9. LJW shows that he’s such a loyal friend since he attended birthday – fan meeting of many friends such as Lee Dong Wook, Kim Ji Suk, Lee Jun Ki, Kim Jae Won or concert of  Shinhwa (Andy).
  10. He has unique ears which can move when he’s angry or upset.
  11. He tried smoking once but he didn’t enjoy it, so that’s why he doesn’t smoke.
  12. He has a low alcohol tolerance and scarcely drinks. LDW told that when they hung out together, they couldn’t drink alcohol because of LJW so they often had coffee instead.

  14. He enjoys cooking in real life. His forte dishes are curry and kimchi jjigae.
  15. His favorite singer is Britain singer, Roo Panes. They met once at a Burberry event in Seoul, 2013.

  34. He has the ability to nurture the desire to consume of people around him. He explained he read a book and thought that he wouldn’t live much, but living while being happy was pretty important. So if his friends want to buy something, rather than worrying, he hopes them can enjoy the happiness this thing can give them. Because, as time passes by, you will see that there will be a lot of things you didn’t enjoy because of unnecessary worries. However, he doesn’t make you spend more that what you have, only the income that you have gained.
  35. In 2011, after discharge from military, LJW came back to small screen in drama ‘Spy Meong Wol’ as an elite officer in the North Korean army, Choi Ryu. Nevertheless, ’Spy Myeong Wol’ had trouble when the main actress left the production mid way and the drama ended up in harsh criticism from public. "From an actor’s viewpoint, this was the project I wanted to forget the most. In spite of that, right now I reckon that by dint of such experience, I can understand how important the harmony and cooperation among actors and staffs are. Thanks to that I could fulfill my role in NINE completely. I was so happy to meet great crew of NINE and really want to meet staffs like them in my later projects", said LJW.
  36. After playing stereotyping roles, he lay in hiding. And he met himself in the character Yoon Suk Hyun of ‘I Need Romance 2012’. Each time Suk Hyun had problems, he sneaked in his room and didn’t show up. The same to LJW. At that time, he had the feeling that the whole world confined me. Yet, when Suk Hyun stepped out of this room, LJW also grew up without any notification. He learnt too much from that character who truly was a friend he should pay gratitude.
  37. He received the script of Nine in US and found that it’s was an excellent script with touching and moving story. He told his agency to accept this by all means and met up the Nine's team only three days after he came back Korea.
  38. He said Park Seon Woo and his personality shared some unusual/odd traits. And like Seon Woo, he will always think first of how he can let the person he loves finds her happiness.
  39. When he first met Jo Yoon Hee, she didn’t even look at him that made him quite sad. JYH said that it’s because he looked scruffy with long hair and moustache. But the next time they met up he got clean-cut and shaven and became really good-looking.
  40. There weren't much NGs while filming kiss scenes in Nine, except for the first one. Lee Jin Wook and Jo Yoon Hee had to do kiss scene on the first day of filming before they became close to each other. They had a lot of troubles with this scene and even needed a male staff to guild LJW. Yet it turned out to be a really long kiss since the director just let them go on, without giving the cut sign.
  41. The most unforgettable kiss scene giving him deep impression in Nine is the one in the rain at the playground.
  42. In Nine’s wrap-up party, LJW & JYH wore 2 pairs of Nike shoes which are same in style, only different in size and color. To the question about dating scandal Lee Jin Wook wittily replied: "My target is to make viewers believe that we are a real couple. So receiving the question whether we date in real life or not is our success, isn't it?". About the shoes, he said "I was surprised, too. When I just came to the party, I saw a pair of sports shoes similar to mine on the shoe shelf. I bought this one because it's a new model with nice design and today is the first time I wear it. Yoon Hee also said the same thing to me".
  43. In an interview after Nine, the reporter said many people wished JYH and LJW would become a real couple like Yoo In Na and Ji Hyun Woo. He said that they had many happiness cooperating with each other. If he has a relationship in the future, he would like to keep it silent.
  44. When asked to choose between two female leads of I Need Romance & Nine, he said Jo Yoon Hee is bubbly and friendly while Jung Yoo Mi is shy but cute. So his ideal type may be a combination of these two.
  45. When asked if he was more like Yoon Seok Hoon or Park Seon Woo, though both have strong qualities that he shares with, the character that he can possibly associate better with is possibly YSH since PSW is a type that is unlikely to find in reality.
  46. Many co-stars praised him for his friendly, considerate and warming personalities. For instance, Kim Ga Young, his co-star in Spy Myung Wol said that “Jin Wook oppa has a way of making everybody feel so great about themselves. He always smiled, shared so many great stories, and always took care of us so well!”. Also, Seo Woo Jin (Nine) claimed that JW's a really good friend who often took care of other people on the set. They had to film 7-8 hours for a run and chase scene during cold weather with their legs in pain. But JW not only tried his best to fulfil this scene but also cared about Seo Woo Jin like giving WJ the heater…
  47. If he has a chance to go back the past, he will use it to return to his childhood.
  48. If he has a chance to meet his future self of 20 years later, he will just ask if he (the future) is happy. He would prefer not to know about the rest since if he knows, the future will change.
  49. In a press conference for his movie 'Miss Granny', his co-star Kim Hyun Suk said that "If we (the movie) record 5 million viewers, I will marry Lee Jin Wook no matter he wants it or not". She made everyone burst into laughter by adding that she is serious. It ended up that movie even attracted more than 8.6 M and she said she's sorry for not being able to make it happen.

Who are the Dooley Couple?

Why are they called the "Dooley Couple"?
Just before the  drama went on air, a group of Shinhye fans at Shinhye Gallery at DC Inside threw  ideas around what to call this couple. One of the names that came out during  this “nickname the couple” session was “Dooley”. The reason was that both Kyu  Won and Shin shares a surname “Lee”. In Korean, “dool” means “two”. The fans  thought that “dool Lee” had a nice ring to to. The makers of “Heartstrings” who  were browsing around fansites noiced the nickname “dool Lee” and thought to use  that name as unofficially official (!^^) nickname for this couple and the news  reporters ran with the nickname as well. So, the couple nickname of “Dool Lee”,  or in an English way of speaking “Dooley”, was born. It actually came from a  Korean meaning of “two Lee”.

Why they have other nicknames Couples?

because they previously had worked  in "You are Beautiful" ,they already had  fans who love them together and called them
the  "Shinhwa" Couple ( Shinhye&YongHwa) or YongHye Couple (YongHwa & ShinHye)


Why we love the "Dooley couple"?

Synopsis

Scouted by singer Lee Sun Hee, Lee Seung Gi was trained for 2 years before debuting on June 5, 2004 at the age of 17. Because You're My Girl, his debut song from his first album The Dream Of A Moth, was a very popular ballad and created a "liking older women" syndrome in South Korea. With this song, he won the "Best Newcomer" award in various music awards ceremonies in 2004 (such as M.net KM Music Festival, SBS Music Awards and MBC Best 10 Singers Music Festival). In 2007, he also won the "Best Male Solo Artist" award in the M.net KM Music Festival with his song White Lie from his third album Story Of Separation.

Lee Seung Gi released a digital single Will You Marry Me in 2009, which became a big hit in South Korea although there was no official promotion. With this single, he received the "Digital Single Bonsang" award in the 24th Golden Disk Awards. In 2010, he recorded a duet version of his 2007 song Smile Boy with South Korean figure skater Kim Yuna, and the song was the official 2010 FIFA World Cup commercial song in South Korea. He also received the "Digital Single Bonsang" award for the second consecutive time in the 25th Golden Disk Awards with his song Love Taught Me To Drink, which was widely popular even though it was not promoted actively.

In 2005, Lee Seung Gi guest-starred in MBC's sitcom Nonstop 5. He then officially debuted as an actor in KBS's 2006 weekend drama The Infamous Chil Sisters. In 2008, he was offered the main character role in MBC's historical drama The Return of Iljimae, but was forced to turn down the offer due to his tight schedule. He was cast as the main male character of SBS's weekend drama Brilliant Legacy in 2009, starring with Korean actresses Han Hyo Joo and Moon Chae Won. The drama maintained its top spot in viewer ratings for ten consecutive weeks and ended on July 26, 2009 with its 28th episode attaining a high viewer rating of 47.1%. The huge success boosted Lee Seung Gi's popularity as an actor in both South Korea and overseas. With this drama, he received the "Best Actor (Special Production)" award, the "Top 10 Stars" award and the "Best Couple" award with Han Hyo Joo in the 2009 SBS Drama Awards. His great performance in 2010 SBS's Wednesday-Thursday drama My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox similarly earned him his second "Excellence in Acting (Drama Special)" award, "Top 10 Stars" award and "Best Couple" award with his co-star Shin Min Ah in the 2010 SBS Drama Awards. Also, in 2012, he participated in a drama called The King 2 Hearts.

Lee Seung Gi has been a permanent member of 1 Night 2 Days, a segment of KBS's Sunday variety show Happy Sunday. He debuted in the 27th episode on November 11, 2007. In 2008, he received the "Best Popularity" award in the KBS Entertainment Awards for his high popularity in 1 Night 2 Days. Lee Seung Gi took up another MC role in SBS's variety talk show Strong Heart in 2009, co-hosting with Kang Ho Dong, who is also the main MC of 1 Night 2 Days. Although it was a relatively new variety show on SBS, Strong Heart was recognised as the "Best Program" at the 2009 SBS Entertainment Awards and Lee Seung Gi was also awarded the "Netizens' Popularity" award after receiving the most number of votes in the online poll. Lee Seung Gi was recognised for his talent as an MC and received the "Top Excellence MC" award in both the 2010 KBS Entertainment Awards and the 2010 SBS Entertainment Awards.

Despite his busy schedule, Lee Seung Gi was able to graduate from Dongguk University within 4 years, obtaining his degree in International Trade and Commerce on February 20, 2009 and receiving a Special Achievement Award from the university. He is currently continuing his studies in the Graduate School of Dongguk University.

In March 2012, Lee announced his departure from Strong Heart in order to focus on his singing career. He recorded his last episode on March 15, which was broadcasted on April 3.

She is like a Lion King  (famous cartoon character. In the cartoon, baby lion meets many difficulties. Young cute baby lion overcomes many difficulties, then, growing up as a king in the jungle)

She was 4th daughter in a respectful family. As she has no brother, she was raised as a son since 5 years old. (In some old historic family, they want to have son to be able to inherit family name) . Because she was raised as a son for a long time, she talks and behaves like a boy. She is a pretty woman-in-male-attire.

During the days when she lived as a boy, she struggled as she was not a boy.  During these present days when she lives as a female, she’s struggling as she never experienced a life as a girl.

But, she is lovely aggressive girl. She is a type that sees what-she-still-has rather than crying for a lost-thing.

Sleek and chic handsome gentleman who studied in Europe.

Since his mother died, he filled his mother’s position for his father and younger sister.

When he eats something hot or salty, his tongue cannot stand it and washing it with drinking liters of water.

She is a sensible, fashionable goddess in Gangnam. She has been a queen from elementary school to college. Usually, this kind of girl’s brain is not so smart. But, she is so smart that she uses men to earn what she wants.

Then she falls in real love with Do Hyeon. Now, she starts to understand what discouragement is and feels the pain .

B I O G R A P H Y
Wang Ji-hyun was born in Seoul, South Korea. Her childhood dream was to become a flight attendant, but at the age of 16, she was discovered on the street by a fashion editor.
 Using the stage name Jun Ji-hyun, she began her career as a model for Ecole Magazine in 1997.
Jun first became well known as a commercial model and as a TV actress. 
Although she made her film debut in the little-watched White Valentine in 1999, it was not until later in the year when she was featured in a
 commercial for Samsung My Jet Printer that she became a popular sensation. The dancing and attitude expressed in the ad made her into an icon for Koreans in their late teens and early twenties.
After continuing her TV and modelling career, Jun made her first well-publicized film appearance in late 2000 with Il Mare.
Jun's breakout film was comedy My Sassy Girl, which became a huge hit both in Korea and throughout Asia with its tale of a gullible college student and his slightly unhinged girlfriend.
 The film spent two weeks at No. 1 in Hong Kong, and turned her into Korea's most recognizable star in the Chinese-language market.
 She also won as Best Actress at the 2002 Grand Bell Awards.Two years then passed before she appeared in her next film, an "occult thriller" titled The Uninvited.
2004 saw her return to the big screen in the movie Windstruck, another film by Kwak Jae-yong, the director of My Sassy Girl. 
In  April 13, 2012, more than 600 guests, including celebrities and close friends and family of the star, attended her wedding to banker Choi Jun-hyuk.
Choi is the grandson of famed hanbok designer Lee Young-hee and the son of fashion designer Lee Jung-woo.
14 years after Happy Together in 1999, Jun made her highly anticipated return to television in fantasy romance You Who Came From the Stars.

Plot
Moo-Yeom (Yoon Sang-Hyun) is a detective. 20 years ago, Moo-Yeom was a Buddhist monk, but he got into trouble with a man named Gap-Dong. To cut ties with him and cut off whatever karma would arise from his involvement with Gap-Dong, Moo-Yeom became a detective. After the statute of limitations expired, Gap-Dong appears once again. Moo-Yeom sets out to catch him once and for all.

Drama series is inspired by the "Hwaseong serial murder case" which occurred from 1986 to 1991 in the Taean Neighborhood of Hwaseong, South Korea. Ten women were raped and murdered during that time period. The real life case also inspired 2003 movie "Memories of Murder".

There is an actress who made her debut 14 years ago, but always looks fresh-faced and angelic. STAR FOCUS sits down one-on-one with Kim So-yeon, an actress whose beauty and talent have never failed to mesmerize audiences.

Following last year, Kim So-yeon has been once again invited to the Pusan International Film Festival. This time she'll be introducing her short film "The Pictures" to the world. "The Pictures," which has been invited to this year's Wide Angle section of the festival, is a heartwarming film. This 20 minute film portrays the friendship between a beautiful photographer and a young village boy who is secretly devoted to painting. Having made her debut as a child actress, she quickly rose to stardom. She was still a teenager when she was cast as the lead in the 1997 film "Change." However, she delivered such a mature performance in the film that she became an instant household name in Korea. She also received a lot of acclaim from audiences for her first villain role in "All About Eve." In this regard, she says that she was able to realize her dream of being recognized as a talented actress.

Kim So-yeon is an actress who exudes both innocence and confidence. Although she usually looks like a person as sweet and cheerful as a romance comics' heroine, the 26 year-old actress sometimes looks rather like a cold-hearted person due to her elegant appearance. She also starred in the renowned director Hark Tsui's film "Seven Swords," which were jointly produced by Korea, Japan and China. Thanks to the film, which were selected as the opening film of the 62nd Venice International Film Festival, Kim was able to stand shoulder to shoulder with international stars. INTRODUCTION

Lee Sang-yoon (LSY) was picked out of a crowd on the streets of Yeouido by his former agency director at the age of 24.

Making his entertainment debut in 2005 in a Hite Beer commercial, he went on to star in several television series.

He won Best New Actor at the 2010 MBC Drama Awards for Home Sweet Home. Sang Yoon is best known for his starring roles in Life is Beautiful, The Duo, and My Daughter Seo-young.

LSY has been cast in his first big screen leading role in the romance film Santa Barbara.

In August 2013, LSY graduated from the prestigious Seoul National University with a degree in Physics.

He had entered as a freshman in 2000, but his acting career and mandatory military service had caused him to take several years of leave from SNU, resulting in his delayed graduation. Congratulations!
