“Three Days”, the case of the President’s disappearance, a record of those 3 days

There are moments that can change the world.
In that moment, it takes just one second to get back to the original point and avoid death.
Especially for the leader of a country, one second is as such. Their life and death have great significance. Who would risk the danger to cause their death and for what reason?

The new SBS Wed-Thurs drama “Three Days” starts with this question. The president has gone to the presidential villa on a 4-day-and-3-night trip and, during the night, he disappeared after the sound of 3 gunshots. A search was launched to find the missing president within 3 days.

3 days, 72 hours, 4320 minutes.
In that time, someone wants the president dead. To protect him, the security officers must first get rid of his political enemies. The missing president Lee Dong Hwi, his bodyguard Han Tae Kyung, the policewoman who helps him Yoon Bo Won, and others. Unravelling the case of the missing president, they are coming towards us with breath-stopping conspiracy, infighting and ardent romance that happen in 3 days.

5th Feb 2014, President Lee Dong Hwi (actor Son Hyun Joo), away at the presidential villa, disappeared without a trace after the sound of 3 gunshots. And that night, one person is suspected of killing the president and thus is being chased and driven to dark forest paths. That person is Han Tae Kyung (actor Park Yuchun). Han Tae Kyung who became a presidential bodyguard 3 years ago, lives for the sole purpose of protecting the president to the best of his ability 365 days a year and will give up his life for the president. He is deeply patriotic. In his 3 years as a bodyguard in the Blue House, he has unmatchable creature instincts; when he thinks he is right, he will not listen to anyone and will persevere to the end, and thus is well-known for being as stubborn as an ox. But his instincts are mostly correct, and for all the trainings and tests like shooting and martial arts, he is always in the top 1%; he can be said to be an “abnormality”. However, a person such as he is now saddled with the taint of presidential assassination and is being chased down.

To prove his own innocence, he starts to investigate with policewoman Yoon Bo Won, to piece together the truth. Before becoming a police officer, Yoon Bo Won (actress Park Ha Sun) has always been zealous about catching molesters, thieves, violent offenders in school and such. After meeting Han Tae Kyung who is suspected of assassinating the president, she knows he is not a criminal and becomes aware of a huge conspiracy behind the scenes. The story of their lone battle to uncover the whole incident unfolds in ’3 days’. Who could be the person instigating it all, what could be the reason for such a loyal bodyguard as Han Tae Kyung to become a suspect, where did the president disappear to, all these will be answered in “Three Days”.

Plot

Park Dong-Joo is a surgeon. His first love was a blind girl. Yoon Soo-Wan is an emergency 119 worker. She was blind when she was younger, but an eye transplant surgery allowed her to see.Park Dong-Joo and Yoon Soo-Wan were each other's first love. They separated due to sad family histories. They meet again 12 years later.

Biography

So Ji Sub was born on November 4, 1977. He started swimming in an early age. He continued swimming till his high school years. "In high school, I was a swimmer who was doing well. To be precise, I played water polo, which is known as “handball in water.” My skills were known. People would be surprised to hear that I was a national representative of junior water polo. I really enjoyed sports. It’s the same now, but my parents worried a lot because they thought I couldn’t adjust to teamwork because of my introverted personality. But the freedom inside water was a kind of release and escape for me. I parted water without desire, and the feeling I got in my body from it caught me from going into a bad path during my teenage years. Sports was a thankful existence for me. No, it still is my most thankful friend. "

Having an athletic background, he started modeling to make living. Being an avid fan of hip-hop group Deunx and Kim Seung Jae, he got the opprtunity to do modeling for denim jean with him. The sudden death of Kim Seung Jae was a big shock to him before taking the first step but "Like that, my mind’s idol passed. Ironically, the sudden death of my idol became an opportunity that opened another road for me. I had been supporting cast, but I was suddenly chosen as the main mode".

Being given the opportunity of starting his modeling work he met his long-time friends Seung Seung Hun and Park Young ha. He made his acting debut in the sitcom Three Guys and Three Girls and drama Model. But whereas fellow STORM model Song Seung-heon quickly rose to stardom, he had difficulty raising his profile. He appeared in small roles on television throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, and started to gain popularity when he was cast as the male second lead in Glass Slippers in 2002. "From my debut in 1995 to 2004’s “What Happened in Bali,” I had a nine-year period of obscurity. Back then, the flower-boy style of people like Jang Dong-gun, Han Jae-suk and Song Seung-hun were drawing popularity from the masses. During that time, I heard the phrase “Don’t be an actor” countless times."

So Ji Sub began to show his potential to become a true actor in 2004's What Happened in Bali, but was again overshadowed by co-star Zo In-sung. At the time, So thought he would end up being a supporting actor. But later that year, he had his breakout role as the tragic hero in smash hit I'm Sorry, I Love You. It made him a top star in Korea, as well as all over Asia. "As “What Happened in Bali” and “I’m Sorry, I Love You” became hit after hit, the awareness of the masses toward me changed. They accepted my own distinct charms and gave me love. I think that’s also when I earned the nicknamed ‘So Ganji.’"

He enlisted for mandatory military service in 2005 as a public relations officer with the Mapo District Office, and was discharged on April 27, 2007. He made his comeback in Jang Hoon's directorial debut Rough Cut, in which he played a thug who dreams of becoming an actor. Because of the film's low budget, So and costar Kang Ji-hwan decided to invest their fees back into the movie, and were credited as producers. So's performance was well received by audiences and critics, and the film became a surprise box office hit.

In 2009 he attempted to break into the Japanese and Chinese markets and the results were I'm a ghost which was a 24 5-min episodes and the movie Sophie's revenge. "I wanted to do a bright and cheery role because I've played so many sad and gloomy ones." He acted in drama Cain and Abel the same year.

In 2010 he headlined the big-budget Korean War epic Road No along side Kim Haneul.

He published his first photo essay (The journey of So Ji Sub) about his travels during the summer of 2010. The book includes his encounters with various people such as rapper Tiger JK, novelist Lee Oi-soo, cartoonist Park Jae-dong, artists dusicnddilddil and Korea's youngest bird researcher Jung Da-mi. The book was a big success in Korea. He was subsequently named the goodwill ambassador of Gangwon Province in an effort to boost tourism there and a 51 km-long trail in the province was named "So Ji-sub Road," which was unveiled to the public on May 20, 2012. He is the first Korean actor to have an entire road named after him.

A professed longtime hip-hop lover, he rapped for two original tracks – Lonely Life and Foolish Love – under the artist pseudonym "G" or "G-Sonic" for the Rough Cut and Cain and Abel soundtracks, respectively. In 2011 he released another digital single Pick Up Line under his own name. Two teaser videos were released, the first one described as a comedic version that featured guest stars Jung Joon-ha (who is a close friend of So's) and Kim Byung-man (whom So named as one of his favorite comedians). The single, along with the music video itself, was released on February 17, 2011, but recorded low sales.

During 2011 to 2013 he played two other movies "Always" With Hanhyo Joo and A company man. His second photo essay which covers 150 days of filming the movie Always was published in 2012. He published his magazine called SONICe in the same year. Ghost in 2012 was his next drama project which was a mild-hit.

He experienced his first romantic-comedy role in drama The master's sun which was a mega hit and proved his popularity and acting ability once more.

Just to give you some background:

I've always been a skincare addict and I've been through tons and tons of products, from drugstore to branded to prescribed, you name it.
I had pretty bad acne for years and they're pretty much all gone except for the few prior to the monthly periods.
Since I've gotten rid of my acne, I've tried a lot of new products in order to get rid of acne scarring, blemishes and the like

A bit about my skin:

Prior to puberty, it was smooth and silky (like most kid's). During puberty, I started getting really bad pimples, especially on my forehead as a result of having bangs - and once they were there, they were really hard to get rid of.
I squeezed, scratched, popped and did everything possible to get rid of pesky pimples. It was pretty much an addiction - it left scarring and darker areas on my skin, and left a lot of my forehead bumpy and simply just not very nice. I knew that and continued to do it.
Prior to finally not getting acne anymore, I tried many things. This included spending pretty much 3 months indoors, didn't touch my face, washed twice a day and kept my fringe up constantly. It helped a little, but wasn't that great (about staying indoors for months, it was because I'm addicted to the internet...). I was also on antibiotics for years on and off. I believe they stopped the acne from getting totally out of hand, but they couldn't stop the large & constant breakouts. I also used benzyl peroxide creams of from 10-30%, which in my opinion, left my skin in worse condition despite getting rid of the acne.
My acne was NOT cystic acne. So I'm not sure how well it would work for you guys. I would post pictures of my acne, but I don't have any since I simply just hated taking photos.

These 3 products were what caused my acne to clear. I used the first 2 up to 3 times a day - morning, in the afternoon when I got back home, and right before I slept. The 3rd product, I used once a week, to exfoliate my skin. It removed dead skin - and the most amazing thing was, it was one of those products where the skin would gather up and be visible in your hand (have you ever tried rubbing your back when wet before soaping, and all this dead skin comes off onto your hands? It's just like that). In addition, I minimised the use of make up - in fact I almost never wore any skin make up, and I avoided using any sort of moisturiser as my skin would get super oily and create pimples. I also changed my pillow case at least once a week. This was basically all I was doing. I had pimples when I started, but they went away after a week, I got a few more over the next few weeks, but a month later, they were pretty much all gone. And since then, I would get break outs now and then. The breakouts would be worse when I eat really oily foods e.g. McDonalds (but sometimes, you just crave them!). I only use Product 2 (the toner) and Product 3 (the exfoliator) nowadays as I have a new cleanser which I feel is better for me now!

This is definitely my most favourite current product. I picked it up a while ago because it felt great and I just loved the black color. Turns out, it is great for breakouts. I was in the midst of a breakout when I first bought it, because nothing I was using was working to minimise my before-period breakout so I decided to try a new product. Within the next few days, all my pimples were gone - and my period had not even started (sorry for the nitty gritty, girls will understand). In fact, right after I cleansed, my pimples which were round and sore - but those types that feel like they're deep under the skin - had had the dirt rise up to the surface of my skin, and I squeezed them out with hardly any pressure. These pimples - from experience - would have taken a week to ripen up before they would have gotten squeezable like that (and squeezing is bad, by the way. If you have the self control, don't do it. It's easier for the skin to heal from a pimple if you don't scratch or squeeze it. The less you touch it, the better).*

This is on the expensive side, I have to say. It is the most expensive out of this list, but this product makes your skin silky smooth overnight. I'm not even joking. Because it's expensive, if you live around an Aesop store, ask for a sample to try it out before you invest. It is thick, and it is a honey-like texture. It feels sticky but absorbs into your skin pretty well. Don't wear it at day time because it's way too sticky for that. I put it on at night before and in the morning, I simply rinse my face with water, before cleansing and toner. You will literally not be able to stop touching your face because of its silky softness. I remember the first time I used it, I had comments from friends about how great my skin looked when I saw them the next day, and I had not even mentioned a thing about trying out a new product.

Product 6: Bioglo, ClearPore Deep Cleansing Mask (http://www.ecosway.com/nzstore/nz/ProductDetails_nz.jsp?prodId=74177)

This product is actually freaking interesting - and works really well. It's for blackheads and whiteheads and cleans out your pores. I usually use it on my nose and chin. It's similar to blackhead strips, but it comes as a paint-like textured cream. You put it on, let it set, then peel it off. It's even better if you take a shower beforehand, so your pores are nice and open from the steam, so when you paint it on, it gets deep in, and can pull out all the impurities that stick to it. Synopsis

His full name is Choi Young Do, heir to the Zeus Hotel Group. He has an IQ of 150, but uses his wit to put down and harass his friends rather than to excel in his studies. His father, Choi Dong Wook, is mercilessly strict and physically abusive towards him. Young Do dislike his father for temperament, abuse, as well as for his womanizing ways that drove Young Do's mother to run away. His bullying ways might be his way of letting out his anger and frustration out towards the weaker students. (cr wiki)

Her full name is Rachel Yoo or Yoo Ra Hel, heiress of RS International (a clothing company). Her mother is Esther Lee who plans to remarry to Choi Dong-wook, YD's father. Their engagement is clearly for business purpose and Rachel resent her mother for being that way. We don't know what happens to her father but she's mentioned him several times. It's another common point between YD & RC, they both lack family love. They try to put on a facade but deep down they're both just hurt and lonely.

Why I think they make a perfect couple. some people might say they resemble each other too much to be together. I say that's what makes their relationship work, because YD & RC don't function like normal people, due to their family background it's hard for them to open up or express their feeling. They don't know how to or do it in all wrong way. When together, despite their dislike towards each other they still partner up for same goal, they could read each other mind easily and because their personalities are alike, they can handle the other's temper while others can't. and HECK CAN'T YOU SEE ALL THAT EYE F**KING THEY HAVE EVERY TIME THEY LOOK AT EACH OTHER. ahzjdkfnodk#{@{[\#rtahhhh

their first dinner meeting with their respective parent. YD commented how his sister (RC) is exactly his type.

episode 5:

another dinner with parents, Esther gave YD a gift for his dog but he made her upset by telling stories about his father's women. Esther not very subtly asked him to leave by saying he had an appointment, when his father pressed on it, RC spoke up for YD and further added she had to be there too.
RC asked YD to give her a ride(on his motorcycle) to pay her back for helping him. YD was reluctant but still agreed and commented how RC kept surprising him.

episode 6:

during YD-KT first confrontation at school, RC came up to YD asking if he's done, when she's about to come over KT, YD pulled her arm back to his side and not letting her go.

episode 7:

RC looked for YD to talk about their family photoshoot. He asked if she could give anything he wanted.

episode 8:

at the family photoshoot, RC cursed at YD, claiming herself crazy to believe he could prevent the photoshoot to happen.
YD's plan to ruin the photoshoot succeeded and RC was pleased, he winked at her as she left.
later at the staircase, RC asked what YD wanted, then he made a move towards her. (you have to watch this scene, i can't describe it with words lol)
same scene, when RC told YD about KT's confession about liking ES. RC asked him to do sthing about it. YD asked her what if he asked sthing she can't give him this time. She said to discuss about it once he gets it done. And YD concluded it as a promise.

when gossip about YD's father and RC's mother marriage starts at school. YD 'waits' for RC at his locker (which is not far from hers), he jokes how it's the moment they should fall in love to mess up more. RC suggests they should just date to get them out of the situation but YD said it's too late since he has started liking someone. He tells her though to be strong cause it's gonna be a tough say (for them), and if there's anything she should go talk to her oppa (himself)
