HELIANTHUS is an exploration of modern luxury expressed through devotion to form, beauty and craftsmanship. The name reflects the heliotropic nature of sunflowers, which single-mindedly follow the sun. This type of unyielding dedication is the brand ethos that Helianthus is built upon.
The most sought after skins such as crocodile, ostrich, python, and fur are flawlessly juxtaposed to create one of kind handbags and small leather goods. Born in Seoul, Korea, the founder and creative director, Kelly Nam hails from a diverse fashion background. At the age of 32, she embarked on a mission to create a line of luxury accessories designed to break the cycle of inflated prices, ordinary materials and standard patterns. For seven years she honed her skills in the leather goods industry to become an expert in leather design and production. Armed with passion and skill and access to a network of the finest Italian leather artisans, Helianthus was officially launched in 2011 with a flagship store opening in Seoul's hotspot, Garosu-gil.
