Hi guys. I'll make this as short and simple as possible.
My boyfriend has a childhood friend that he hasn't seen in 3 years because he doesn't live in his home town anymore. But for the 3 years this girl has constantly and regularly been texting my boyfriend. At first I tried to overlook it although it's suspicious in my eyes how a girl tries to hard to keep in contact with a person they haven't seen in three years. The problem started when she texted my boyfriend "hey what are you doing" at 3 in the morning on a saturday night. When i later read what they talked about, she wanted to talk to him about her "issues" with work and guys.
God forbid my bf who she hasn't seen in 3. years. is the ONLY person she can go to... So i expressed how I felt and asked him to let her fade away because in my eyes she was in love with him. like FOR REAL it was so darn obvious but he would deny. I was simply just not comfortable with this. So he agreed and that was two months ago.
This morning i saw a text from her and the content was, "**** i think i have drinking problems" she called him a very friendly name that even i don't use... What my bf told me was the he told her they couldn't be friends and that they stopped talking two months ago. But what i don't get is why she would text t out of the blues with that kind of message.
Whats worse is that when i first asked him to show the text to me this morning he tried to hide the screen so i snatched the phone from him cuz i snapped at what he was doing and now he's mad at me that i snatched the phone from him and tells me i could've went about it in a different way. And instead of trying to solve this he gets even more mad that i was mad and frustrated at him although i was very irritated at the whole situation, not at him.
Any advice? What i can say?
